Jesse is from Northern Michigan and considers herself a creative above all other titles. Having nurtured her artistic spirit at the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy and graduated with a BFA in film from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, Jesse has traversed through many diverse artistic disciplines.

Following her early experiences working on camera teams in Los Angeles, Jesse pivoted towards the illustration and design domain. Recognizing the applicability of her cinematography and storytelling skills to visual artwork, she has since refined her nuanced, yet playful and sincere approach to any project.

Jesse's portfolio mirrors her dedication to capturing the complexities of life and its multifaceted participants. Her work exudes a congruent theme of ambiguity, inviting viewers to contemplate the intricacies of the human experience. There’s also an interdisciplinary exploration between her artistic projects and her mindfulness and meditation facilitation. She posits ideas in her personal illustrative work which aim to highlight perception versus reality, echoing themes of non-duality and the illusory nature of the self.

Presently, Jesse operates as a freelance illustrator, concurrently refining her proficiency in motion graphics and animation. Her professional journey continues to unfold as she navigates the dynamic intersection of creativity and technology, working part-time as the social media coordinator for a non-profit based out of Philadelphia, PA. As a UCLA-Trained Mindfulness Facilitator, Jesse is also establishing herself as a meditation teacher, offering mindful awareness practices locally twice a week.
